The Bethersden Youth Forum PDF Print

The Youth Bus will be back in the village parked on the recreation ground on Tuesday evenings, 7.00pm to 8.30pm from January 12th.

The Bethersden Youth Forum is part of the Ashford Youth Forum Trust, which was established in 2002 and is for young people aged 12-21 years to have their say in their community and neighbourhood.

The Neighbourhood Youth Forums (NYF's) are a fantastic way for young people to have a voice where they live. Meetings are held in in partnership with local Parish Councils, Police Community Support Officers (PCSO’s), Community Wardens and local Youth Workers. This way we can be sure meetings are taken seriously; with joined up thinking, action will be an outcome.

If you live in Bethersden and want to get involved with making a difference, the Group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at the Village Hall, 6:30pm to 7:30pm, just before the Parish Council meets, so ideas and requests can be immediately passed on to the Parish Council.
