Recreation Ground A Major Review

The Parish Plan review was carried out last October and generally confirmed that the Action Plan objectives are still valid. However there was considerable support for and comment about the Recreation Ground. In view of the importance of the Recreation Ground to the whole village, a public meeting was held on 20th June to collect a range of views and suggestions as the basis for a working party to look at what is needed to be done in the short term, and also what additional facilities should be planned for in the future. 

The working group for the Recreation Ground is progressing slowly with feedback coming in from interested parties. They are now looking at what can be done under the two options of expanding on: 1) the existing site or 2) the existing site and additional land.
