The group is the 2009 Sunday Kent Village Cricket League Division 1 squad who won 9 of their 10 league games during the Summer. 

The 2 players are Andy Crawford (right) and Richard Williams. Both are village lads who attended the village Primary School and Norton Knatchbull 

Andy was the leading run scorer in Division 1.  He batted 10 times and scored 497 runs at an average of 70.7.  He finished unbeaten on 3 occasions, hit 4 fifties and had a top score of 138. 

Richard was runner up in the bowling in Division1.   He took 22 wickets - only 1 less than the leading bowler from Stone-in-Oxney - at an average of 12.55 runs per wicket.  He had two five wicket hauls with a best performance of 6 for 28.
