The new village website has now been live since June 2009 and has already become a useful addition to communications within the village community with several hundred ‘hits’ per month including a number from outside the UK. The usage has now reached a level where the various search engines(e.g. Google, Yahoo) will show the village website as the first entry.
Provision has been made within the website for businesses to publish their details including, where appropriate, links to their own websites. The Parish Council would now like to extend this facility to all businesses working within Bethersden Parish. There is a ‘Search’ facility to make it easier for users to identify the business they wish to find.
